With the building of a large extension on a residential property, shortly followed by three new build properties, a suitable form of heating needed to be found which was cost effective to install in each house and economical to run.

Outside Residential Property where Air Source Heating Systems Installed for client

The Problem:

Mr Lord knew that with unstable energy prices making it difficult for his potential purchasers or tenants to budget, he needed to investigate options which would overcome this concern when the properties were viewed.

After researching the market, Mr Lord concluded that there were distinct economical and practical advantages to renewable heating.

The benefits of air source heat over conventional heating systems such as oil or gas are greater efficiency resulting in much lower heating bills and, from a domestic point of view, each unit is easily controllable, quiet, unobtrusive and clean. There is no need for large tanks in the garden and they work remarkably well with underfloor heating.

EOC Services' Solution:

Two quotes were obtained of comparable price but EOC’s was more detailed and provided better value. A visit from Robert Hill cemented Mr Lord’s decision to use

EOC Services as during that visit, air source heating was fully explained, it’s benefits and advantages clarified and all in a manner demonstrating knowledge and experience.

Our Satisfied Client’s Thoughts:

Initially I had reservations about trying air source heat pumps, partly because I had been confronted with front line selling by other organisations. Their sales people were clearly prepared to baffle a newcomer into submission to make a sale, rather than explain the workings of air source heat pumps, to give me as a customer confidence to make an investment.

However, that changed as I was impressed from the outset after visiting EOC Services’ head office. I was given a tour of the building and given a demonstration of a working heat pump. There was no pressure to make any form of commitment and they made a separate appointment for their representative to visit the site. Upon his arrival he answered my questions and explained the type of backup support to expect, which I was keen to hear about as I had up until then only used oil.

What probably impressed me most about EOC was the professionalism of Robert Hill and how he conducted all his visits from quotation to completion, liaising with other professionals working on the site to ensure that the planning and installation would run smoothly. Robert remained in contact throughout the whole process through to the commissioning phase and his knowledge and the personal service adopted by himself and his staff whenever contact was made was first class. The backup support is excellent and you can be assured that any queries are dealt with immediately. You are kept informed by the reception staff when to expect a visit from the technicians or service personnel who visit to service the units. They are also courteous and respectful, always ready to explain what work they are carrying out and why.

Lastly in terms of value for money, I believe there are immediate savings as you do not need to buy an energy storage tank, and ongoing, with the constant fluctuations in oil and gas prices, heat pumps are easily temperature controllable and you only use what you need. I would thoroughly recommend this form of heating to anyone.
