Winter & Co, Huntingdon
EOC Services inherited the maintenance contract for the air conditioning in Swiss owned, Winter & Company’s offices, and maintained the system for several years before their recent major upgrade and expansion.
It was decided that to house the growing UK arm of the company, who produce innovative and high quality material for covering books, packaging, office and social stationery, retail displays and for fine leather goods, the premises comprising of office space and warehousing, would need to expand by nearly double and the whole property would need to be refurbished.
This was the ideal opportunity to install new air conditioning. The old system only had an impact on room temperature if you were incredibly close to a unit and was financially inefficient. The appointed building contractor for the refurbishment recommended another air conditioning company but Winter & Company chose to use EOC Services as they were very happy with the service received to date.
A Daikin ceiling mounted system was installed and the company are very pleased with it. The units look tidy and being ceiling mounted, do not take up wall or floor space. The units control the temperature in a large office environment and since the installation, as part of the refurbishment as a whole, Tim Edwards stated that the ambient temperature was constant and a calming effect had been felt on the business making it was a much better place to work in.
We have found EOC Services a very good partner to work with over the years. They’ve always been very responsive both in terms of the installation and the general maintenance of the systems.
Daikin is a good system, providing both a pleasant working environment for all our office team and value for money. The cost saving from the old wall mounted blown air system is significant.
